About the organization
MONO International School is a private, officially registered kindergarten in Thma Bang District, Koh Kong Province, Cambodia. Founded in late 2017, MONO began with a simple belief: every child, no matter how remote their community, deserves the chance to learn, dream, and build a brighter future. Today, MONO provides a safe and caring learning environment for children and young people through kindergarten, after-school support, English learning, and part-time skills training. We believe education is more than books and lessons. It is about confidence, kindness, character, leadership, creativity, and discovering the possibilities beyond one's own community. MONO also creates opportunities for cultural exchange, connecting local students with people from around the world. Volunteers can share their knowledge, experiences, and encouragement while experiencing authentic Cambodian community life and becoming part of the MONO family.
